Well, here’s a little about me: I’m 41 years old, a dad, own multiple businesses, gym lover and I’ve been on hundreds of dates. Yes, hundreds!
Why so many dates? Good question! After my divorce, I wasn’t in any rush to jump into another long-term relationship. Instead, I focused on my daughter, my businesses, and myself. I lived like a monk for a few years, but eventually, I decided to put myself back out there.
Cue the dating apps. A few swipes right, some interesting chats, and one unforgettable catfishing incident later, I quickly realised the dating game had changed. Love it or hate it, the world of dating is a whole new ballgame now. But honestly? I embraced it. Meeting new people, exploring new places, and enjoying the fun moments along the way—it was eventful!
With time, I started to crack the code of modern dating. I figured out which photos worked best, discovered how to create real connections, and even learned how to land a date with just four messages (because let’s be honest—chemistry is better tested in person, right?).
So, what’s this course all about? Some time ago, a few close friends of mine found themselves newly single—some after amicable splits, others after more challenging breakups. Like many, they turned to dating apps to get back in the game. When we all met up at the gym, the topic of their experiences and struggles with modern dating came up.
Knowing I’d been active in the dating scene for a while, they asked me to take a look at their profiles. A quick swipe through their pics, some tweaks here and there, and we were off. Then I shared my messaging routine. By the end of our workout, both of them had matches—and dates lined up!
